Located in the very heart of Kenya’s fabled Maasai Mara National Reserve, Keekorok, meaning abundance in the local Maasai language, was constructed in 1962 on a prime  eighty acre site inside the reserve surrounded by an area of permanent springs and lush grassland, habitually teeming with wildlife (hence its given name), much favoured by the local community and hunters in the by-gone days.

Accommodation:

Keekorok Lodge comprises of 87 Standard rooms, 10 Chaletes, 1 Executive Suite and 1 Presidential Suite (3 Bedrooms). These include stone-built bungalows with private verandas, single storey blocks and shaded tents, all with bathrooms en suite with constant hot water. Most rooms overlook the Reserve and others look into a large garden. Every habitation has been tastefully refurbished using matching wall colourings, fabrics and linen.

Balloon Safaris:Is there a better way to watch the sun rise over Kenya than lightly floating across the Maasai Mara national reserve in a hot air balloon on a crisp African morning? Not a chance.

Keekorok Lodge offers the unique and unforgettable experience of a hot air balloon safari: leaving early in the morning before the sun rises, you’ll catch the morning wind to wherever it blows you. The gentle ride is nearly two hours of watching zebras galloping across the plains, lions hunting down wildebeests, and so much more. Upon landing, you will be surprised by champagne and a hot gourmet breakfast spread out before you. Welcome to Kenya!

Game Drives:Keekorok Lodge’s game drives are unforgettable. Dreams come alive as you experience what cannot be captured in pictures, or music—the magic of true Kenya. The game drives depart three times a day, and you will ride in an authentic 4x4 Land Cruiser with an open roof, large windows, and an expert driver.

Eseriani Spa:The spa at Keekorok Lodge is a wonderful opportunity to relax in peace during your safari adventures. Secluded and serene, the spa is a place for true relaxation and peace. You’ll enter the spa to find your professionally certified therapist welcoming you to the Eseriani Spa—which means “place of peace” in Maasai. The Eseriani Spa covers full body, face, and foot massages; aromatherapy; body scrub and wraps; and so much more.

Conferences and Meetings

Keekorok lodge offers state of the art meeting/conference facilities with a choice of open air and indoor meeting space. We have lush green lawns which can host up to 300 pax and in house meetings room can host upto 40 pax.
