At Sabuk you can forget all about mechanised transport commonly used in National Parks.There are no rules about staying in vehicles as you view game.Here in Sabuk yo see Africa up close and candid on foot ,and true without rush or noise of engines and take walking assisted camel safaris for one or several days. Trekking with the Laikipiak Maasai, your professional guide will organise fly camping and walking amongst big game and shaded rest in the cool of the riverine forests.
Sabuk lodge has 6 beautifully furnished open sided en suite cottages, plus Eagle Cottages (a family cottage) which consists of 2 en suite bedrooms, and a private seating / dining room with plunge pool. Both the lodge rooms and the cottage have their own fabulous views. Sabuk was fashioned out of the local landscape, built with local materials, twisted wood and stone boulders incorporated into the architecture. Open fronted and private veranda’s face out over the river gorge 150 feet below.

Sabuk Fly Camp is perfect for clients spending 3 or more days. Walk with a professional safari guide, a camel train and a team of trained Laikipia Maasai warriors through completely deserted tracts of wilderness: no other tourists, no roads or vehicles, only wildlife and tracks, breathtaking scenery, the sounds of the bush, Africa.
