The 20 bed El Karama Eco-Lodge is built on tranquil acacia clad banks of Ewaso Nyiro river on 14,000 acre El Karama Ranch, Central Laikipia District in an are adored with an abundant bird and wildlife including big four (black rhino to be found on neighbouring sanctuaries)

Getting to El Karama

• Road:El Karama is four hour’s drive from Nairobi and one hour’s drive from Nanyuki.
  -4WD recommended
  -Self- drive land cruisers recommended:
• Flying:- There are two scheduled daily flights from Nairobi Wilson airport to Nanyuki airstrip through Air Kenya and Safarilink.  Flight times are around forty minutes.
• Private Charters:El Karama Ranch has a private airstrip where charter flights can land during day light hours.
