The Sleeping Warrior Lodge is an eco-friendly luxury lodge just over two hours from Nairobi. Set on the stunning Soysambu Conservancy, the lodge offers breathtaking views of Lake Elementeita and the Rift Valley. Enjoy anunforgettable wilderness experience with night and day game drives, bush walks and excursions to nearby Lake Nakuru National Park and Eburru Forest Sanctuary. Soak in the splendour of the African bush in our 7 widely spaced bungalows.
Accommodation 6 bungalow suits with stunning views over Soysambu Conservancy, the Sleeping Warrior Crater and Lake Elementeita. Each bungalow is 55m² with a private terrace,large bedroom and ensuite bathroom with separate shower, WC and bathtub for two.A 7th bungalow has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a large sitting room. Eachbungalow is designed to maximise the views and offer the highest level of comfort and privacy to our guests.

Soysambu Conservancy
A private conservancy Soysambu Conservancy features volcanic hills, rolling plains, and dense acacia woodlands, the Conservancy also includes a substantial part of Lake Elmenteita, the ancestral home of 1.2 million flamingos and their attendant cast of pelicans, cormorants, waders and storks. Within the shelter of the crater, wander large herds of buffalo, within the acacia thickets graze the rare Rothschild’sgiraffe, and across the plains bound an ever-shifting kaleidoscope of plain’s game. Long protected from the impact of mass-tourism, the Conservancy also provides sanctuary for a wide range of predators, including the shy and secretive leopard.

By road 140kms from Nairobi – a 2-3 hour journey depending on road conditions. The final segment is a dirt track so we request that clients arrive before nightfall.

By Air-1 hour drive from Loldia Airstrip (Safarilink flights).40 minutes across private land to the Nderit Gate entrance to Lake Nakuru National Park.
